WhatsApp: Search + File₹1,299 + govt feeWhich mark to file
Wordmark
The name itself, in any font. Strongest protection, hardest to clear if the name is common.
Logo / device mark
The artwork only. Easier to clear, but protects the design rather than the words.
Logo composite
Name and logo filed together. The usual fallback when the plain word is crowded.
Tagline
Registrable if distinctive, not if merely laudatory. “Just Do It” yes; “Best Quality” no.
How online trademark registration works — from filing to certificate
Send the name on WhatsApp. We search the Registry and tell you plainly whether it is worth filing.
In minutes · freeCorrect class confirmed and the full cost in writing. Payment only after you agree.
Same dayYou sign the authorisation; we draft and e-file. Application number issued immediately.
Same dayLogo marks get international codes for their visual elements. Nothing needed from you.
1–3 monthsThe Registry accepts the mark or objects under sections 9 or 11. We explain which, plainly.
3–8 monthsA written reply is filed within the deadline. If the Registrar still objects, it goes to hearing.
1 month to replyAccepted marks are advertised for four months so any third party may oppose.
4 monthsIssued if unopposed. Protection runs ten years from the filing date, renewable.
12–24 months totalThese timelines belong to the Registry, not to us. Anyone who promises a certificate by a fixed date is guessing.
™, ® and © — which you may legally use
From the day you file
Signals a pending or unregistered mark. Usable the moment your application number is issued.
Only after the certificate
Lawful only once registration is granted. Using it earlier is an offence under section 107.
Services
The service equivalent of ™, used with marks in classes 35–45.
Copyright, not trademark
For artwork and writing. A logo can hold both. They are separate registrations.
Documents we need
Online trademark registration in India — fees, process and documents
Trademark registration with Invorn is fully online: you send the brand name on WhatsApp, our trademark expert runs a free search, and the application is e-filed the same day. Below is what people usually ask about trademark registration fees, the process and the documents.
Trademark registration fees in India
Our professional fee starts at ₹949 (Search + File ₹1,299), plus 18% GST. The government fee is separate: ₹4,500 per class for individuals, startups and micro/small enterprises, ₹9,000 for others. You get the total trademark registration cost in writing first — no hidden charges.
How to apply for a trademark online
1) WhatsApp your brand name. 2) Free trademark search and the right class. 3) Approve the draft and pay. 4) Same-day e-filing and your TM application number. From that day you can use ™ with your brand.
Register a brand name, business name or logo
Brand name registration, trademarking your business or company name and logo trademark registration all follow the same process. File the wordmark first, then the logo — or both together.
Documents for TM registration
Applicant name and address, the brand name or logo (JPG), a list of goods or services, and the signed Form TM-48 (we draft it). For the ₹4,500 govt fee, a micro/small enterprise (Udyam) or DPIIT certificate.
Trademark registration in India can be done online from any city — Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Jaipur or anywhere else. No office visit is needed; the whole process runs on WhatsApp and email.

Frequently asked questions
Is ₹949 really the lowest price?
Yes, as far as published prices go. Our fee to file is ₹949 + GST. The lowest entry fees published by the big online providers are ₹1,499 (Vakilsearch, now Zolvit), ₹1,899 + GST (IndiaFilings, plus a ₹1,200 first-time onboarding fee) and ₹1,999 (LegalWiz). The government fee is the same everywhere; it goes to the Registry, not to us.
Is the government fee really extra?
Yes, for every provider in India. ₹4,500 per class for individuals, DPIIT startups and micro & small enterprises; ₹9,000 for other companies. It is paid to the Registry and we do not mark it up.
What if the Registry objects?
About 45% of applications do. A written reply is due within one month. Our objection reply service is ₹1,999 + GST, and we tell you the objection odds before you file.
Can my application be refused?
Yes. If it is similar to an earlier mark, purely descriptive, a common surname or geographical name, or likely to hurt religious sentiment.
How many classes do I need?
Usually one. Each extra class costs another full government fee, so we will not recommend a second unless your goods genuinely fall outside the first.
Should I register personally or in the company name?
Founders often register personally and licence it to the business, so the mark survives the company. With institutional investors, the company usually must own it.
What does renewal cost?
₹9,000 government fee per class every ten years (e-filing), plus our ₹1,499. We note the date when we file and remind you.
Shall we check your name first?
Most people start with the free search. It takes minutes on WhatsApp and costs nothing, and you find out before the government fee is spent.
Invorn Services (OPC) Private Limited is a trademark filing and consultancy service. We are not a law firm; your application is drafted and filed by a registered trademark attorney. Registration itself is decided by the Trade Marks Registry — we tell you the objection odds before you pay.
Trademark registration in your city
We file online for businesses across India — metros and tier-2 and tier-3 cities. See which Registry office handles your city and the classes local businesses need.
